Harrods is a one-of-a-kind property that feels like you’ve left the city behind without actually leaving Louisville. Set on 5+ private acres just 30 minutes from downtown, this newly renovated rustic cabin was designed for groups to relax, reconnect, and enjoy quality time together. Spend the day exploring local attractions, then come back to enjoy the hot tub, movies in the theater room, fishing in the pond, arcade games, bonfires under the stars, and slow mornings on the deck with a coffee.

The space:
Whether you’re visiting Louisville for a tournament, concert, Derby weekend, family trip, celebration, or just a relaxing getaway, the house was intentionally designed to keep guests comfortable, entertained, and connected throughout their stay.

~ Hot Tub: Relax and unwind in the private hot tub after a day exploring Louisville, Churchill Downs, the Bourbon Trail, or nearby attractions.

~ Theater Room: Kick back for movie nights in the private theater room featuring reclining seating and a large screen perfect for movies, sports, or late-night binge watching.

~ Game Room: Stay entertained with arcade games, pool, foosball, air hockey, board games, and plenty of space for friendly competition.

~ Fishing Pond + Outdoor Spaces: Enjoy peaceful mornings fishing in the stocked pond, evenings around the fire pit, and over 5 private acres that make the property feel like a true escape from the city.

~ Fire Pit: Gather around the fire at night for s’mores, conversation, and quality time under the stars. Firewood is not provided, but can be purchased nearby.

~ Outdoor Dining + Deck: Enjoy meals outside, morning coffee on the deck, or simply relax and take in the peaceful setting.

~ Fully Stocked Kitchen + Grill: The kitchen is stocked with cookware, dishes, utensils, and essentials needed to comfortably cook for groups. A grill is also available for outdoor cooking.

~ Multiple Living Areas: With several spaces throughout the home to gather or spread out, the house works well for large groups without ever feeling crowded.

~ High-Speed WiFi: Fast WiFi makes it easy to stream, work remotely, or stay connected during your stay.

~ Pet Friendly: We know pets are part of the family, and they’re welcome here too.

This spacious home comfortably sleeps up to 14 guests across 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, making it ideal for families, friend groups, retreats, and gatherings.

~ Bedroom 1 (Main Level): King bed, private bathroom, TV, and closet.
~ Bedroom 2 (Main Level): Two queen beds, TV, and closet.
~ Bedroom 3 (Main Level): Two queen beds, TV, and closet.
~ Bedroom 4 (Lower Level): King bed, coffee bar, TV, and dresser.
~ Loft: Queen sized pullout couch, TV, and desk.

This house was made for milestone birthdays, multi-generational family trips, holidays, friend getaways, and those rare weekends when you can finally get the whole crew in one place. We've thought of it all and include everything you need, so you can focus on enjoying your time with others.

Book your wedding on property at Harrods Estate, our wedding venue and event center. This is NOT included with your reservation of Harrods.

Guest access
Guests have access to the house, front yard, backyard, and area around the pond during their stay. Guests do not have access to the detached event space as part of this rental

Other things to note
You should expect to hear some noise from cars passing by on the highway adjacent to the property.

Only catch and release fishing is allowed in the pond.

Please note that there is not a fence surrounding the property. Please make sure to keep a watchful eye on your pets and young children to make sure that they do not wander.

Please keep in mind that you’re staying in a rural setting surrounded by nature, which is part of what makes this place so wonderful. With this natural environment comes the occasional sighting of local wildlife—whether it's a deer, bunny, field mouse, bird, or even a reptile or insect. We want to assure you that we take steps to manage this natural environment by investing in regular pest control services, doing our best to minimize any issues that can arise from being in nature.

Our home is pet friendly, and we love hosting guests with furry companions. The house is thoroughly cleaned between stays; however, guests with allergies should note that pets have been in the home.
